COVID-19 Statement from YCLC

UPDATE – For the protection of our students, staff, and community, YCLC’s reopen date will be determined based on the Governor’s and CDC’s recommendations. We will continue with remote operations along with monitoring and evaluating the situation.

STUDENTS – During the week of 3/30/20, you will be contacted regarding classwork, lessons, etc. while the office is Closed.

For the protection of our students, staff and community, York County Literacy Council will move to remote operations on March 16, 2020.  Our office is closed to in-person visits, but we are still available by phone (717) 845-8719 or email, info@yorkliteracy.org. Re-opening the office and face to face classes will be determine at a later date.

During this time ALL York County Literacy Council student activities are cancelled. This includes English as a Second Language, Pre-Nurse Aide, Citizenship, Adult Learners, High School Equivalency classes, workshops, 1-to-1/small group tutoring sessions, HiSET testing, and orientations.

We are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and will post any new developments.  d
