It’s Almost Time to Celebrate!
YCLC’s Virtual Celebrate Success Event will premiere HERE on Thursday, March 11th.
In our 45th year of service, York County Literacy Council has seen much success – many students’ goals achieved, expanded programs, growing volunteer numbers and FINALLY a new facility!
In celebration of these achievements, YCLC will team up with Diemo Productions to virtually Celebrate Success. Kicking off our 14th Annual Literacy Empowerment Campaign, this video will highlight those students who have dedicated countless hours of hard work to achieve their High School Equivalency Diploma, obtain Citizenship, pass a healthcare career pathways course, gain employment, and much more!
John Klinedinst, Literacy Empowerment Campaign Honorary Chair, will lead the event alongside YCLC alumni whose stories will truly move you.
A Familiar Face
2021 Literacy Empowerment Campaign Honorary Chair, John A. Klinedinst
Amidst a global pandemic and uncertain economy, 13th Annual LEC Honorary Chair, John A. Klinedinst, inspired others to support the mission of providing educational opportunities for adults of York County, raising over $52,000 during 2020. Due to the unexpected challenges and postponement of our 2020 “Celebrate Success” event, John graciously accepted our invitation to once again lead us through another Campaign. We are incredibly honored to once again announce John A. Klinedinst as YCLC’s 14th Literacy Empowerment Campaign Honorary Chair.
